Psychotherapy

Dr. Lee’s practice focuses on treating adults with a variety of mental health problems, including but not limited to:

  • Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

  • Moral injury

  • Depression (e.g., chronic sadness, difficulty feeling good)

  • Anxiety (e.g., panic attacks, excessive worry, fear of social situations)

  • Chronic stress

  • Grief/loss

  • Infertility-related stress

  • Life transitions

  • Coping with medical illnesses

I focus on creating a safe, compassionate environment in which the client can feel heard and understood, then working collaboratively to build a plan for treatment. I focus on utilizing evidence-based care, meaning using therapeutic techniques and principles that have been shown to be effective for most people. I emphasize tailoring care to each individual client, while striving to appreciate and value the larger social context, and being responsive to clients’ identities (e.g., sex, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability status).
